Residential Services Orientation (RSO) Information:

RSO is designed to provide an overview of the Title 17 requirements for residential vendorization for persons who wish to become vendored as a residential service provider and for administrators of vendored homes. For more information on RSO please see California Code of Regulations, Title 17,  SubChapter 4 - Section 56003.


The first day of North Los Angeles County Regional Center (NLACRC) RSO will be Monday, March 20th, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The course is taught over a 9 week period, on Mondays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, with the last day of class being Monday, May 15th, 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. The cost for RSO is $100.00.

NLACRC has created a page on for a convenient way to register for RSO. To register you must have a password from NLACRC. In order to receive the password you must submit a certificate verifying completion of the CCL Community Care Facility or RCFE Orientation within the last six months and a resume demonstrating experience providing direct support services to people with developmental disabilities for a minimum of 6 months
